2013 Roscoe Chamber of Commerce Tree Decorating Contest
The 2013 Roscoe Chamber of Commerce Christmas Tree Decorating Contest is in FULL Force. Please support us by donating canned goods in our basket at the Christmas Tree located at Main & Bridge Street. The Tree that has the largest donations WINS the Contest. Judging will be Saturday November 30th at 6 pm after the Roscoe Lighted Parade.
Thank you to everyone that came out and froze decorating!

Roscoe Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting
The annual holiday parade and tree lighting ceremony will start at 5 p.m. Saturday November 30th, 2013. Dickerson Nieman's Roscoe office will be helping to decorate the tree!
Kids can start the fun at the Roscoe United Methodist Church, from 4pm to 5pm for "Make and Ornament". The parade will start at 5pm (all can join in) ending with the "Tree Lighting" at the corner of Bridge Street. & Main Street. , directly following the lighting, everyone is invited to the Village Hall for Hot Dogs, Cocoa, games & visit Santa!

Rockford Thanksgiving Events
Each year, Rockford is an amazing place to celebrate the holiday season and this year is no exception! The season kicks off in full gear this Thanksgiving weekend with two events bound to provide hours of fun for your family. Rockford Thanksgiving Turkey Trot The Rockford Road Runners' oldest race is the Rockford Thanksgiving Turkey Trot which takes place on Thanksgiving Day. The trail race course at Aldeen Park is approximately a 5K distance. Runners guess their time with no timepieces allowed. Finish closest to your predicted time to win Thanksgiving turkeys or pies but you must be present to win. Start time is slated for 9am though those that expect to take longer than an hour may have an early start at 8:30am. Congratulations to Roscoe's Judy Balsley
Dickerson Nieman would like to congratulate our own Judy Balsley on her upcoming retirement!
In December 1997, Dickerson & Nieman Realtors opened their Roscoe Illinois office, with Judy being one of the three agents in the new office. The office has grown to over 30+ agents. Judy has decided to retire December 1st with 16 years working at Dickerson Nieman, 19 years total in the Real Estate business. Judy has consistently been one of the company's top producers throughout her real estate career. Judy and her husband Jim have three children & seven grandchildren. With Judy and Jim's lifetime commitment to the stateline area owning Balsley Printing, Judy has enjoyed a strong following of clients and friends. Judy's plans are to enjoy her family, travel extensively with numerous trips to their favorite place in Florida.
