DICKERSON & NIEMAN REALTORS ANNOUNCES VERY STRONG SALES IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2015; SELLING AT DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES IN ROCKFORD MARKET BOOM!
The Rockford market is outpacing the growth of the national housing market and Dickerson & Nieman Realtors are outpacing their fellow brokers — and by a healthy margin.
Dickerson & Nieman agents sold 710 homes and condos from January to June 2015, a jump of 91 homes (or 14.7%) for the same period in 2014. The Rockford market as a whole saw 1,967 homes sold in January to June 2015 compared to 1,841 homes sold in 2014.
In other words, Dickerson & Nieman accounted for 72% of the entire Rockford market growth of homes (91 of 126 homes sold in the entire market) from January to June 2015.

Dickerson & Nieman also beat the local housing market in six-month sales price increases. Dickerson & Nieman homes sold for an average $135,760 from January to June this year, a 9.4% rise over the $124,138 average for homes sold for the same period last year.
Overall, the average Rockford sales price increased to $102,095 from January to June this year, up from $94,161 in the same period in 2014, a bump of 8.4%. This means Dickerson & Nieman bested the market by 11.9% year-over-year.
The average Dickerson & Nieman home sells for exactly 33% more than the average Rockford home. A Dickerson & Nieman home went for an average of $135,760 the first six months of the year, versus $102,905 for the average Rockford home.
ROCKFORD HOUSING PRICES SIGNIFICANTLY OUTPACING U.S. PRICES
A new analysis of Rockford housing price increases over the last year shows that the average market price is growing 33% faster than the national average.
Looking at year-over-year price increases from June 2014 to May 2015, the Rockford market saw an average increase of 5.24%. By contrast the national average price for the same period increased just 3.95%.
In 10 of 12 months the Rockford year-over-year increase significantly outpaced the national market, rising at least 22% per month higher than the national average.
