STRONG FIRST HALF SALES - CHECK US OUT! Dickerson & Nieman is outpacing their competition by double digit increases in the first half of 2015!
DICKERSON & NIEMAN REALTORS ANNOUNCES VERY STRONG SALES IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2015; SELLING AT DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES IN ROCKFORD MARKET BOOM! The Rockford market is outpacing the growth of the national housing market and Dickerson & Nieman Realtors are outpacing their fellow brokers — and by a healthy margin. Dickerson & Nieman agents sold 710 homes and condos from January to June 2015, a jump of 91 homes (or 14.7%) for the same period in 2014. The Rockford market as a whole saw 1,967 homes sold in January to June 2015 compared to 1,841 homes sold in 2014. In other words, Dickerson & Nieman accounted for 72% of the entire Rockford market growth of homes (91 of 126 homes sold in the entire market) from January to June 2015. 45% of Homes Sold in Less Than a Month
In the monthly REALTORS® Confidence Index Survey, NAR asks REALTORS® "For the last house that you closed in the past month, how long was it on the market from listing time to the time the seller accepted the buyer's offer?" . The map below shows the median days on market of respondents about their sales from March-May 2015. Properties typically sold within 30 days in Colorado, the District of Columbia, California, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, Kansas, and Texas (red). On the other hand, properties were typically on the market for more than 90 days in Maine, New Hampshire, West Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas (green). All real estate is local. The Main Reason You Should Not Wait to Buy…
The Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University recently released their 2015 State of the Nation's Housing report. The report concentrated on the challenges renters in this country are facing because of the diminishing supply of quality rental units and dramatically escalating rents.
However, there was also information buried within the report that revealed that now is definitely the time to buy your first home or move-up to the home of your family's dreams. With home prices still below peak values and mortgage rates still near historic lows, the monthly mortgage payment on a median priced home is less than at almost any time in the last 25 years.
