Great music and plenty of shopping can be found at Rockton River Market, conveniently located near these amazing Rockton homes for sale. This community event takes place every Wednesday from June to August, and it's a great place to pick up local produce or meet your neighbors. The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

You'll find fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, baked goods, sweets, honey, crafts, and so much more at the Edgebrook Farmers Market. With so much to choose from, you'll have no trouble stocking your kitchen each week. This is Rockford's oldest farmers market, and there are between 20 and 25 vendors on hand. The market takes place every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May through October.

The Forest City Church sponsors this market, and it takes place every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May to October. Forest City Farmers Market has a nice variety of vendors, so you can shop for fresh produce, handmade items, jewelry, cheese, and more. This Saturday morning market is one of the best in town. This is one of the most popular places for people to get together, socialize, eat, and shop all summer long. The North End City Market takes place Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon from mid-May until mid-October.Â
