The St. Patrick's Day Parade is an annual tradition in Rockford. This year, it is scheduled for March 16 at 3 p.m. The parade lines up in the BMO parking lot and will run down 7th Street, across the river to Main Street, and then left on Main Street. It will end at the old post office.

Paddyfest is an annual St. Patrick's Day celebration that will take place on March 16 this year. It's held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront & Rockford Conference Center and presented by the Irish Marching Society.

Tickets to Paddyfest are $10 for adults. Children ages 12 and under can attend for free. Embassy Suites is catering the event, and the meal will include corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and cookies. There will also be kids' meals with hot dogs and cookies, as well as live music by The Tooles, Rockford Pipe Band, and Emerald Wind.
St. Patrick's Day With Acoustic Millennium Band - 3207 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61103
If you love acoustic music, this is the St. Paddy's Day celebration you won't want to miss. St. Patrick's Day With Acoustic Millennium Band is being held at Whiskeys Roadhouse Bar and Grill. There will be lots of Irish music, plus a few modern favorites.

Whiskeys will be offering food and drink specials for the occasion. The event will last from 8 p.m.-midnight. Feel free to stop by for an hour or stay the whole time.

Redwood is an acoustic band with only two members. Riley Sanders plays the guitar and sings, and Cassidy Campbell contributes vocals. The band plays many classic, soulful songs and will be on-stage for St. Patrick's Day at Stumpy's Pub. The show is scheduled for March 16 at 6 p.m.

Stumpy's has a full beer menu, and they let you order Maciano's pizza and wings, which are delivered straight to your seat. The four-topping personal pizza is a great choice if you're hungry.
