However, this can be difficult if you've just moved to a new area. Fortunately, there are plenty of great brunch spots near Rockford homes for sale. Here are a few of our favorites.

When it comes to fresh, local food, you can't beat Magpie. Specializing in breakfast, their brunch menu includes staples like pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, as well as biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, and several vegan and vegetarian options. Plus, try their boozy coffee drinks like Rebel Hard Vanilla Latte and Guinness Nitro Cold Brew.
Eggsclusive Cafe - 7105 Cherryvale N Blvd., Rockford, IL 61112
It wouldn't be brunch without eggs, and nobody does them like Eggsclusive Cafe. Try their Fresca Italian Omelet with mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil, or their Southern Special Omelet with chorizo, jalapeño, and Monterey jack. They've got a rotating menu with a variety of delicious brunch options available at great prices, so whatever you're looking for, there's a good chance you'll find it at Swedish Pancake House.
Johnny Pamcakes - 3700 E. State St., Rockford, IL 61108
A family-owned restaurant, Johnny Pamcakes specializes in home-cooked diner food that's inexpensive and delicious. Try their breakfast sandwiches, like their breakfast croissant filled with eggs, ham, and American cheese, or their Pamcake Sandwich, which puts the ham and eggs between two buttermilk pancakes. They also have a variety of omelets, benedicts, and skillets, as well as steak and eggs: ribeye, sirloin, country fried, and more. If you want simple food done well, Johnny Pamcakes has what you need.
Jerry's Cafe - 2601 N. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61114
If you want brunch with a Mexican-American flavor, Jerry's Cafe is the place to go. Reservations are encouraged most of the week, but on Sundays and holidays, it's first come, first served.
Thunder Bay Grille - 7652 Potawatomi Trail, Rockford, IL 61107
If you prefer buffet-style brunches, Thunder Bay Grille has you covered. Their all-you-can-eat buffet is $25 for adults, $12 for kids 12-6, and free for kids five and under. It includes carved prime rib, primavera pasta, homemade mac & cheese, omelets and waffles made to order, and much more. Reservations are required, so call ahead.
