YPN is the future of our industry
Steve Bois, the CEO of Rockford Area Realtors says that YPN is an incredibly optimistic group of young people — the vanguard of a critical mass market that is now coming forward, the millennials. Many Baby Boomer Realtors are approaching retirement. That means that there is a growing gap between current Realtors and the new blood we need coming in. YPN is a recruiting tool we need to ensure that our industry thrives. Why? Because we want professionals who will come to the Realtor profession by design, not by default. Who will think proactively about how to solve problems in the community, identify root causes and take effective action. Our YPN is just such a group, and I would put them up against any comparable group in the country. RVC Athletics Hall of Fame to Induct 12 Former Athletes - Including Dickerson & Nieman's Own Duey Hoff
[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="108"] Duey Hoff, Broker Dickerson & Nieman Realtors[/caption] Duey Hoff has made an impact on RVC Athletics in every way possible for over 45 years. He played both basketball and baseball at RVC (1968-1970) and would later return to coach the men's basketball team, first as an assistant coach (1973) and later as head coach (1983-1985). For the past 28 years, Hoff has served as president of the RVC Athletics Booster Club. On the basketball court, Hoff's specialty was rebounding. He led the 1969-70 team in rebounds with a 13.1 average and for his career at RVC averaged over 10 rebounds per game in helping his teams to back-to-back 23 win seasons. His impact on the RVC Athletics program as Booster Club President can hardly be measured. His leadership has been invaluable and vital to the success of RVC Athletics for nearly 30 years.
