Dickerson and Nieman is proud that he Rockford area has so much to offer nature lovers! The Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens brings the tropics to the Midwest. The facility is the third largest conservatory in Illinois and is located along the banks of the Rock River. The 22,000 square-foot conservatory includes an 11,000 square foot plant exhibition with water features, sculptures, seating areas all in a tropical plant setting. Seasonal floral displays are also featured as well as educational programs where children can learn the importance of plants. The Conservatory also hosts lecture series and special workshops and it also is the perfect place for events like business meetings, weddings and receptions. The Double Diamond Award for sales over $10 million was presented to both Steve Clark and John & Diane Dowd for their 2012 production.
